About Jusilla

My name is Jusilla Bridgemon, and I’m happy to have you in my healthy corner on the web! I am a U.S. Military Veteran and San Diego State University Alumna; Go Aztecs! I received my B.S. in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Fitness Specialist.
My commitment to health began after I gained 25 unhealthy pounds throughout high school and before joining the military. After years of smoking, drinking, clubbing, and hitting those “all-you-can-eat buffets,” I decided to take charge of my future and committed to making health and fitness a new way of life.
Jusilla uses her extensive background in movement, biomechanics, and strength and conditioning to help athletes and individuals with all types of injuries or performance issues.
As a former elite athlete in Olympic Weightlifting, Jusilla decided to dedicate her knowledge to helping serve others.
After completing her elite weightlifting career, she became the USAW-U20 assistant sports and conditioning coach for two seasonal camps. During this time, she mentored several elite coaches, including Fabio Comana, Micheal Smith, and Scott Bracken, while she worked as a head coach and gym manager at her local weightlifting facility.
In 2021, Jusilla Bridgemon opened Elevation Fitness. She Is an active person within her veteran community when it comes to health and wellness.
When not working, traveling, or relaxing, - Jusilla enjoys lifting weights and finding other ways to get outdoors.

TRAINING PHOLOSOPHY
“Making your MIND comfortable with the fact that your BODY is going to be uncomfortable.” People who are not accustomed to regular exercise will find it challenging to find comfort when uncomfortable. Getting out of our comfort zone– mentally and physically, is where positive change occurs.
Positive change will not happen sitting at home on the couch. That is where I come in. I specialize in helping people get away from their comfort zones, whether for a minute or an entire hour. What I can’t do is make someone want to get stronger, leaner, or fitter. But when you are ready to take that leap, I will be with you every step of the way! We all fear commitment, but we must commit if we want to see results. Life is a series of goals; some will take much longer to accomplish than others. Becoming and staying the best version of yourself can take a lifetime of commitment.
